Relay For Life here in Moncton is less than 2 weeks away!!! For those of you that have not already contributed to this great cause...this is your chance. Relay For Life is the Canadian Cancer Society's signature fundraising event. It is a 12-hour, overnight, non-competitive event that brings teams of 10 or more together for a night of fun, entertainment & fundraising. The event gathers people from across the city who have been touched by cancer to show their support and raise money for cancer research. All money raised from the event will support the Cancer Society's mission to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life of those living with cancer. Money raised specifically goes toward funding research projects covering all types of cancer, providing information service and support programs in the community and advocating for public policies that prevent cancer and help those living with it. My personal goal is to raise $500 through on-line pledge and I'm half way there (Thank you VERY much to those that have already contributed!!!).
